First session of Dragon Forum 2012

The first session of Dragon Forum 2012, which Wajda School is one of the partners, devoted to the scripts development, will be held 24 - 27 January 2012 in the heart of Warsaw at Elektoralna Str 12, in a picturesque building of Dragon Forum partner’s seat – The Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts. The daily program foresees classes with International experts, qualified film projects’ presentations, lectures and master-classes. In the evening screenings of documentary films, whose production is connected with the activity of Dragon Forum, as well as meetings with their authors will take place. All screenings are open to the public.
Dragon Forum 2012 participants will develop their film projects under the guidance of documentary professionals Georg Tschurtschenthaler (Germany), Dorota Roszkowska (Poland), Dimitriy Kabakov (Russia) and Jerzy Śladkowski (Poland).

We would like to invite all interested to take part in the First Session of the International Academy of Document Dragon Forum 2012 as Observers. Accreditation form in available here. The accreditation fee is 250 PLN.

Tuesday - 24.01.2012, at 18.30
“Invisible Strings – The Talented Pusker Sisters”, dir. Ágnes Sós.
After the screening, Dorota Roszkowska will present the case study of production.

Wednesday - 25.01.2012, at 18.30
“Crulic - The Way to Beyound”, dir. Anca Damian
After the screening the Q&A with Polish co-producer, Arkadiusz Wojnarowski from Ferdinand Magellan Foundation will be held.

Friday - 27.01.2012, at 18.30
“Farewell Comrades!”. dir. Andrey Nekrasov.
After the screening, the whole transmedial project that the film is part of, will be presented by German producer Georg Tshurtshenthaler, from Gebrueder Beetz company and Polish co-producer, Krzysztof Kopczyński, from Eureka Media company.
Screenings, meetings and presentations will be held in The Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts
Elektoralna Str 12, Warsaw.
The participation in screenings is free of charges!
