During the Film and Music Festival "Küstendorf", which ended on Monday, and which was founded by Emir Kusturica, the Piotr Subbotko film entitled "Glasgow" was awarded the Bronze Egg prize. Glasgow directed by Piotr Subbotko has been awarded at the 8th International Film Festival Golden Apricot in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where it participated in the Short Film Competition. The film was produced as part of the 30 minutes programme, a joint initiative of the SFP Munk Studio, the Wajda School, TVP Kultura and the Polish Film Institute. The participation of this film in the competition was accompanied by a special screening of films from the Wajda School and Wojciech Marczewski's visit with his retrospective.

Films developed at EKRAN – the international programme at the Andrzej Wajda School– 'Lęk wysokości' [Fear of Falling] by Bartek Konopka and 'Wymyk' [Courage] by Greg Zglinski (prod. Opus Film) were awarded best debut or second best film at the 36th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. 'Courage' also received the award for the best script written by Greg Zglinski and Janusz Margański. Furthermore, two other titles developed at EKRAN took part in the 36th Polish Film Festival competition – 'Daas' by Adrian Panek (prod. Argomedia Productions) and 'Ki' directed by Leszek Dawid (prod. Skorpion Arte), for which Roma Gąsiorowska was awarded for the best leading role performed by an actress. In addition, Gabriela Muskała received the award for performance by an actress in a supporting role, for the film 'Courage'.
