NEXT SESSIONS OF COURSES BEHIND US

In April, the next sessions of the Fiction Course 'Development Lab' and the Documentary Course took place at the Andrzej Wajda School. In accordance with the principle 'from script to screen', participants develop their own ideas and the best projects are produced. Both courses are organised by the Film Education Foundation and the Andrzej Wajda School.

The last four-day feature film workshops were devoted to film analysis. There were screenings of films made by participants together with a discussion with Andrzej Wajda and a screening of the drama film by cristian Mungiu '4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days' combined with a lecture by Edward Żebrowski. The documentary session was filled with analysis of the students' projects under the supervision of tutors - Marcel Łoziński, Jacek Bławut and Vita Żelakeviciute.

The Fiction Course has been already organised for the fifth time and the Documenatry Film Course – for the sixth time. The principle of both courses is 'from script to screen'. Each participant proposes an idea for the film and the best projects are produced under the artistic supervision of tutors, who provide advice and support at every stage, from the development and research to the editing and the sound post production. 

This year's edition of the Development Lab, as well as the Documentary Course edition, is divided into two stages. 15 students take part in the first stage: Lauma Balode, Bartosz Blaschke, Ewa Bulanda, Olga Chajdas, Piotr Chrzan, Magdalena Kamińska, Szymon Kapeniek, Barbara Kurzaj, Vahram Mkhitaryan, Piotr Pawłowski, Marta Pruska, Filip Rudnicki, Wojciech Solarz, Piotr Szymanek, Maria Zbąska.

Among the participants of the first stage of the Documentary Course, there are: Piotr Bernaś, Łukasz Borowski, Grzegorz Brzozowski, Paulina Capała, Aleksander Duraj, Dariusz Gackowski, Benjamin Gewogyan, Paweł Janicki, Tadeusz Koczanowicz, Eliza Kubarska, Jan P. Matuszyński, Marta Michałowska, Marta Minorowicz – Mc Bride, Kajetan Prochyra, Natalia Pawłowska, Julia Popławska, Krzysztof Sacha, Piotr Sadziński, Magdalena Szymków, Bartłomiej Świderski, Maciej Wąsik.

The courses are co-organised by the Andrzej Wajda Film Education Foundation. Both the Development Lab and the Documentary Course are co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
